Dressings used to fix IV Catheters and Venous Catheters
It is a sterile, self-adhesive and hypoallergenic cover with two non-stick absorbent pads that are placed at the catheter entry point and under the butterfly part of the IV cannula. This dressing is made of non-woven fibers with hypoallergenic adhesive features and is very comfortable for the patient. Basically, a sterile dressing should be placed at the catheter entry point in order to avoid sticking. In addition to providing a sterile environment, this dressing is able to control exudate, blood leakage, and oozing.
